Being introverted is a personality trait so I don't how it is considered selfish to prefer spending time alone over and abundance of stimulating activity that doesn't suit them UNLESS they are married to an extrovert. Both can make sacrifices.

I think introverted is a different meaning for it tends to point to a characteristic in your persona, whereas being a loner is a choice. And a choice that most cannot fathom
