   Spirituality is an incredibly ambiguous term in these matters. People of all religions have seen demons, they are not at all exclusive to any race religion or gender. they may feed on the weak, true enough, but they can appear to anyone. I myself am very strong willed and have encountered them several times. Being more spiritual is not something that allows you to see them or feel them, that is an inherent ability. you either have it or you don't. and yes some of it can come stem from Mental illnesses. I am certainly mentally stable though, so mine is not in any way attributed to that. but I don't usually 'see' them, and sometimes seeing does not involve the eyes...

   Most all of you do and don't even know it. Example; You can feel if you enter a room and someone was talking behind your back, and see it in there faces at times. You can feel when someone has a jealous spirit against you. Also if people have been fighting before you arrive and you enter the room (strong spirit) hard to shake off of you. These spirits are not like God. I feel demonic spirits more than see them, but yes I do see them at times and by seeing them I ready to speak the Word of God against them.

   My opinion is...Why, why should you be spiritual to be able to see Demons, In my life I've never seen one, also not planning to, you know why, i have no wanting to meet evil, I am not vulnerable and weak enough for Them to harass me. It's when you mix with the wrong crowd ,when you do what you shouldn't do that opens doors...Demons come to you spiritual or not...But they show themselves when you let them...It all depends on what you want and what you choose

    seeing deamons isn't about spirituality. you only see them if they want you to see them and then there probably harassing you.

    why do I have to be spiritual before I can see demons,,,people who have mental illness are known for seeing demons,,,and some of them are no where near being spiritual,,,they do need to connect with their spirit selfs,,,but no medical field as far as mental health goes addresses the whole person(body, Mind,Spirit),,,Yes I am spiritual enough to see a demon,,,and have,,,but I am also mental,,,was mental before I ever got connected to spirit,,,Mary

    Well when I had the mass on my brain and ended up expericing steriod psychosis, from what I'm told, when euphoria hit, I got in the spiritual relm and stayed there (that's what saved my life). Anyway, while there, apparently I kept talking about demons. I can even remember having a sexual demon cast out of me during the psychosis.
    
    I feel that everyone have a level of spirituality, you know, something within; it's up to each individual if they are going to let it grow or wither and die.

    I can look at someone close up and see emptiness in their eyes. Like a body with an empty shell. I guess that counts as spiritual. I have met only one man like that and he wanted to kill me. So my guess was accurate. True story!
