I was when I lived at "home". Now I get that when I visit. My mom's latest query- "yacht".
Kinda ironic, considering how many times I heard my mom tell one of us to "look it up". lol

Yes! I am often asked by my boyfriend, friends and family! I used to read a lot and because of that passion I thankfully have a talent! LOL!

All the time. My mother is an immigrant and my father never read much since high school. Not to mention in my office. English is tough if you're not used to the letters that are never sounded, especially if your family is from an language group where that doesn't exist. Unless you're from Vietnam, no one else understands how much being invaded by the French can screw with your language.

Yes! I think that's why I have such a difficult time letting go when I make a typo, because even though I know it really doesn't matter that much, I prefer people not thinking that I can't spell.

Yes...how did you know? Would you like me to spell something for you? Would you like me to type any letters or fill in any difficult or tedious forms on the web for you? Do your research? That's what I do.

I thought so but my son is even better I think. He has started to correct my structure sometimes when I tell a story or he will suggest a "better" word.

Yes. I live alone, but I frequently get called upon at work or elsewhere. I wouldn't say "dictionary" as much as "thesaurus" though!
