i am the odd one out, they love me though.

On one side of me there's a family living in a two bedroom condo but with nine people living there... all with new cars. They seem to take turns coming outside and having loud but senseless conversations on their cell phones... probably since it's more private out in public than it is inside. They seem to sleep in shifts which means the conversations on the phones outside my window are just as common at 3 a.m. as they are at 3 p.m. If you say 'hi' to any of them they glare at you and stare for as long as they can see you. On the other side is a townhouse with a thin, bony older woman who speaks Spanish only and talks so slow and loud that she sounds like Jar Jar Binks from Star wars. She also comes out to smoke and she squats on the sidewalk when she does the way I've seen photos of Vietnamese women squatting. She has several younger women living with her who speak both Spanish and English and one of their favorite things to do at night is to all sit out on the sidewalk and sing Spanish songs without music and cheering for themselves each time they get a set of lyrics right. Somewhere along the line somebody must have misinformed them that they had even the slightest ability to sing. Strange has lost most of it's meaning for me at this point.

We have a nudist girl who sleep with different boys.
We have a family that take care of other people's dogs but they hate dogs.
We have a rich family that give a new sports cars and a house to each brat.
We have a guy who also sit in front of his computer all day but we have never spoken to each other even thou we can see each other's rooms.

Not strange. Just country. And one of them is really inconsiderate of her neighbors, as she likes to talk on the phone and laugh extremely loudly when she is outside, and she allows her visiting nieces and nephews to run amok in the apartment complex.

The neighbours in my last place weren't so much strange as selfish and inconsiderate of other people's property and space.

no, but they're annoying. wish i had never spoken to them, now they won't leave me alone :(
