    Popping them may relieve pressure relieving some aspects of the pain, but it is still injured and will hurt until it begins to heal. The really bad thing about popping blisters (verses letting them pop on their own) is that you allow the introduction of bacteria into a wound that can be a smorgasbord for germs. These infections can be nasty and greatly prolong the pain.

    Never pop a blister...you run the risk of getting an infection.
