Let me relate this story and you can figure it out. Three generals sat in the officers club patio drinking. They got into an argument about which service had the bravest men.

A young Marine was walking by as the marine general said, "I'll show you what bravery is."

"Marine, climb that flag pole and dive off on your head."

The marine snapped to attention, saluted, ran to the pole and climbed it, then jumped off.

The Army general said, "let ME show you what bravery is. He called to a soldier walking by, "soldier, run out in the center of the highway there, stand in front of a mac truck until it runs over you."

"Yes sir," the soldier did as ordered.

They both looked at the Air Force general. What about your men?"

The air force general nodded, called to an airman walking by. "Airman, climb on top of the building here and dive off head first."

The airman looked at the general, "are you out of your f*&*&% mind, general."

The air force general smiled, "gentlemen, that's true bravery."

air force because you are a woman.you dont need all the ground politics.you need just board your plane, hit the target and return to base to read poem to your baby via the phone.army is too tedious for a woman.goals are not easily accomplished.if you do get caught in a air raid by the enemy, you stand the chance of being wooed by the c in c of the enemy who will personally ensure your safety.im talking from experience.

Dpends on what you want. If you are looking for specifc training in a specific Miliatry Occupational Specialty(MOS) that is translatible to a civilian job then both offer a wide variety and often the same skills. If all you are looking for is traing and the miltary is just a Job Corps with a uniform to you then definetley Air Force-outside of their combat air crew and some combat ground support people they are about as military as your average security guard company.

The Air Force has better chow, newer barracks, more off duty education opportunities. If you alloking for soem adventure the Army has the potential -regardless of what the recruiter says, of having you ride shotgun in a convoy in some third world crap hole. If you are looking for ground combat as a poorly trained perimeter guard or convoy secuirty go Army. That's no slur on the fine men and women in those support MOS's, just the fact that the Army doesn't provide enough combat training to service people prior to sending them into harms's way.

Curious-why not the Marine Corps or Navy or Coast Guard?
Talk to each recruiter-talk it over with your family and visit around bases to talk to junior enlisted.
Good luck- keep your head down and your rifle clean

The reason you want to go Air Force is it's the only branch that you will have regular hours/ steady hours which will let you have a life outside the military

Go Navy!
As a Navy vet I had to say that.
But the Air Force had the best living conditions of all the services when I was in. Everyone was jealous of the zoomies.

Airforce has soft toilet paper, cable, but is very competive for promotions, and higer pay comes slowly however the trade off is Regular hours better housing if your a female, go AirForce or Navy. I am an Armywife it is a harder life style with toilet paper made of compressed wood, if you have a pulse and don't cause trouble you'll fly up the ranks, and terrible on post housing at all ranks, and more field time then you can ever imagine. There is a reason the Army is mostly men. Write a pros and cons list and decided what your end goal is going to be.$$ or time the choice is yours. Best wishes!
