As a customer I address cashiers pleasantly, yet with respect. I ask the same in return. I do not wish to be addressed as: hun, babe, sweetie, bud, dude, etc.

No. If I'm at work, I'm at work.<br />
I like friendliness and respect. Light flirting can be all right once in a while. I don't mind chatting when it's a good time.<br />
If someone has an interest in me, then we can take that up when I'm off the clock.<br />
I've been lucky in that the coworkers that I've dated felt the same way about their jobs.
