as a kid i loved butter in the toast..seeing the butter melt down all over it gave me a thrill...
My mom was so amazingly sweet to me. She made me a hand-written menu (with about 5 different things), and would make whatever I picked from the list. :) My favorite would be a toss up between cheese omelet, and pancakes with maple syrup. Yum!
I am coming to live with your mother :-)
That was sweet!
Yes, my mom is very sweet.
Me too, I hope she has room at the table :)
Being poor has its advantages...all meals were home cooked (on the farm)..,the aroma in the kitchen of fresh baked bread ham bacon eggs..was always great. But the atmosphere of gaiety on the breakfast table was what I enjoyed most.
I was Coo Coo for Cocoa Puffs...wasn't everybody?
I liked how they turned the milk a chocolatey brown. (:
The Marshmallows out of the Lucky Charms. mmmm....sugar!! lol
Kellogg's Sugar Frosted Flakes. They're great!
When I was really young, I was an absolute grouch when I woke up (okay, I still am). Anyway, the only thing I would say when I woke up was "I want waffles" with a big pout. My mom would try to engage me in conversation and I would just get progressively more pissed off the longer I didn't get waffles. I love my mom for putting up with me :-)
She's a good woman... I would have gave you cold oatmeal.
Anything! As long as there was food on the table, I'm thankful.
Wheaties. The breakfast of champions.
Martinis the real breakfast of champions
Hamburger Helper and applesauce
lol for breakfast ?? yeahh right
My mom used to make us pancakes in the shape of letters, like in our names. Me and my sister loved that. She would just drizzle the batter on the griddle and make letters. I thought that was really cool.
Cream of wheat with sugar sprinkled on top. If you put the right amount it would melt and harden to a crust that was like candy. Problem was once you got past that top la<x>yer it wasn't so good anymore :(
Macaroni & cheese was my first love. <3<br />
Then I cheated on it with French toast, lol.
All kinds of cereal, french toast, bread with jam and scrambled eggs, waffles, maandazi, cottage cheese bread and eggs, and samoosas. It would just depend. Cake the day after someone's birthday.
Coco corn flakes.
We were poor and oatmeal was the only breakfast, raisens and sugar were rare commodoties, whenever we recieved that oatmeal was so much better.....
