It has often disturbed me that such well educated people belive it is more plausible that every thing spontaniously sprang into existance on its own rather than being created by god. I have created many things during the course of my life but I have never seen anything spontaniusly spring into existance on its own.
Astrophysics has nothing to say about what caused the big bang and all the speculation in the world can't prove anything. The newer theories in quantum mechanics are all contextual suggesting the question itself is meaningless. Like asking what is the sound of one hand clapping. Insisting God caused the big bang merely begs the question of what caused God ad infinitum.
I believe in intelligent design and the spiritual realm, but as far as the beginning of existence is concerned, I think there are some things that no one can prove one way or another.
because, GOD made the decision to be. we are all part of the original decision.
I couldn't quite get through your question, it must be my bedtime..... Veos Con Dios! (I know I didn't spell that right!)
"Astrophysicists suggest all matter/energy “just” came into existence from something of infinite mass/energy"
Oh for ***** sake! REALLY!? What does the law of conservation of energy state? Right. So how can an astrofuckingphysicist suggest something which patently flies in the face of it? Grrr.
It's like this: Energy cannot be created or destroyed ergo it must be eternal, right?. Simple logic, not difficult, not complex, a five year old should get it. Now maybe it isn't but everything we've ever seen and every model of reality that produces useful and testable predictions says that energy is eternal.
So how can you have a true void devoid of energy if energy is eternal? If you want to suggest that there was some energyless void you have to come up with a way for there to be no energy. That means you have to either make some energy from nothing or you have to destroy some energy.
It's just a theory. It's one of those things we'll just never know. I sorta agree with alot of that ancient alien crap. I figure, were just a big experiment that they made to figure out their own origins. I wouldn't be surprised if god was just an alien.
it's a kind of magic!
This is way tooo serious for me to even ponder
I have no desire to make people think like me
Come on man, your smarter than that.
they teach it as a truth, as well they should. will i acknowledge that God could have possibly been influencing from behind the scenes? Yes, its possible but highly unlikely. Why fight science? without it you and all of us would have nothing but a stick and a rock to beat non believers with for our religious differences.
i agree with that. i would like to see a documentary in which they admit "we dont know it all yet"
