Thanks. My cat is about that age but I was also told that having them neutered when they are that young may cause problems with their urinary tract.

I'm not 100% sure, but I had my female cat done not that long ago and she's just a bit over 6 months. She healed perfectly and she's doing fine =]

Forgot to add, the vet should be able to tell for sure if they are ready or not.

Did you adopt her ? Mine is a rescue so the age is unknown but he is about that age. I wonder what happens if you delay neutering a male cat ? He is an indoor cat and doesn´t "socialize" with other kittens, lol.

Had all mine done at that age and had cats for years or they have had me more like it

You can spay females at about 2 months. Males can be done when their balls drop, around 4 months.
