At your age you should give yourself an exam once a month. I think around the age of 40 is when doctors start to look.

an annual mammogram starting at age 35 should do, unless there is a history of breast cancer in your family. AND DONT SMOKE!

I think the doctor start doing mammograms at age 40 but doctors does breast examination with their hands when a woman reach 30 years old.

Better to be scared by the test on a regular basis than get scared in the old-fashioned way by finding a huge problem with only so many options available.
Be strong. Even though it is not for breast cancer screenings, I do know what it feels like to have to get regular organ screenings for tumors or other unpleasant changes. It is not much fun, but I know that if there ever is something to worry about, we can kill it early because we found it early.Like (1)

It's rare at your age (and mine) but you should give yourself a check once a month :-)
