Nope, where I live has some of the world's deadliest people, and so far I've survived.

Most of the dangerous ones don't wander around the city attacking innocent civilians. If you leave the snakes and spiders alone, they'll leave you alone :)

Yes! I am arachnophobic soI would freak out if I came across a spider let alone a dealy one. Unfortunately I can't go to Australia anyways due to my allergies. I'm allergic to kangaroos :(

I think you will find that with all the venom in the world said animals pale in comparison in their ability to harm you as another human being can.

No, it would not. I would take the same precautions I take in the USA, for the venomous snakes, and spiders, near my home.

Yeah. Australia is beautiful and I even have a friend there who has repeatedly invited me, but I'm scared shitless of spiders, and after she told me there was once a spider in her backyard that ate a f*cking bird I didn't dare to go anymore.

None in my area- I'm way down south! I've been told that if you lick certain species, they can cause hallucinations! I'll take their word for it....

a few yrs back the whole country was said to be on the verge of being over run with cane toads . Maybe I'm old fashion but I know some safe distilled beverages that taste a lot better than toad sweat

    Yes. Always has.

How many people die from that each year? Drunk and sober?

No where near as many as shootings in the USA! In fact, to hear of people dieing from snake and spider bites here is rare. Does happen, but it's not common....

I'd punch a spider in their face for a chance to see Hugh Jackman walking on the beach, so no I'm not deterred.

lol. Mate, I live in these so-called snake and spider infested parts the rest of the world calls "Down Under". These hot blooded Aussie girls you're apparently attracted to are descended from Brits, i.e. they're a boring and timid lot. White folk in Australia are very ordinary, in world outlook, culture and soul - you might even call it backward. And please, don't be fantasizing about thinking there's a horny sack of hormones and sexual yumminess beneath that comely exterior; they're categorically boring and thickheaded. Still, a man can dream. I certainly won't.
