Unwavering, unapologetic, complete and sincere honesty gets my gears grinding. It's so difficult to find people without masks on these days, like a rare gem in a field of coal.

I try to be openly honest with people i care for and choose to interact with, and i expect to be treated the same in return. Sometimes people get offended at first, but given time to think about it and the better ones come out less ignorant, while the stubborn ones eventually get over it. I've been told brutal truths about myself, and i only admire the person more for being brave enough to do so, even if the initial blow kinda stings. Though i have trouble connecting with people, so many of my friends are fair weather ones despite the fact. Though i blame nobody but myself for that, and i do occasionally try to be less reclusive.Like (1)

That like one of those loaded questions asked by swarmy pollsters who want to arrive at a very specific answer. . . would you rather have several good friends or a whole lot of untrustworthy friends?

Unwavering honesty, darling. Why make time for anything less; is your time not valuable? ;-) True friends that you connect with on a deep, truthful level are rare, but that's what makes them gems.
Ha, I think this question WAS kinda politician-y... I'd say you'd make a good one but you are too honest. You dodged that bullet.Like (1)

It of course depends on what you value in a friend. Friendships are two-way relationships after all. Be the friend you'd wish to have and you'll attract the same.
