No. The war is over when it's over in the heads of people like my former coworker Zach, who did two tours as a combat medic. Same story for concerning my friend Justin, who did a tour in Afghanistan recently, engineer in the Army National Guard. Memories of what happens when an MRAP hits a double-stacked anti-tank mine don't go away easily (spoiler: the driver lost both of his legs, above the knee amputations, and suffered severe burns, or, in Justin's words, "****** up for life".).

well since we never actually declared war since ww 2, we kind of are in a perpetual war. North Korea sounds like they want to start ****, and Iran is like the kid that won't listen. We could always just wait till something happens thats big, but thats up to the American poeple.
