Did you try putting the key in the outside lock to roll up the window? If you turn the key in the up postion and hold it it will roll up the window. Probably already knew this but figured i would throw it in. Other than that you would need to get the cover off the inside of the window to get access to the mechanism that attaches to the motor.

Get a bin bag and place it over the open door then close the door trapping the bag into position.

ya know, removing the inner door panel isn't as tuff as it looks. Fasteners/screws/clamps can easily be found if you look closely enough....On the other hand....you could take it to a body shop and they'd probably fix it for ya cheapo, like a $100. or so..depending on if you need a new regulator

Put it in the garage until the rain ends, or take it to an inside parking garage at a shopping mall etc.

Check you fuses, The one that controls that motor may have blown. If all else fails use a shower curtain and some duct tape to keep the rain out.

Not sure it will work, but get some kitchen tongs, wrap some sort of tape or something around the ends (to give it grip) and pull the window up then stick something between the window and the edge of the car/window frame to keep it from falling back down.

well I'd make sure it's going to stay dry first. So if it's going to rain, I'd get duct tape and some plastic. Then I'd search on google, you might get some more legitimate answers than what you might get on here sometimes.... http://bit.ly/UOYMrf

read the owners manual, there could be a bad fuse, or something is wedged in there
