Can a dream be straight-forward?

So, all I remember is that I'm in my room, sitting in front of a mirror. There are many different versions of me staring back at me, some are yelling, some are conversing with me, others are defending me and the most dominant is attacking me with her words. Along the mirror, in black marker is "I hate you" bordering it in two lines of spirals. At one point I end up getting angry at one of the people in the mirror and it breaks as my balloon in the real word gets thrashed against the ceiling by my fan. What do you think it means?
