There was this woman who used to work with me . She was older than me and sometimes called me "kiddo" --so that was understandable as a friendly, harmless kid Is it natural for a 26 year-old guy to call another guy "Sport". I asked a particular question via email to this guy I knew from work & he asked "Anything else, Soprt?" I just heard of it being referred to in father/son relationships & doesn't sound quite 'mature' or common between 2 grown guys over 20. Or is "Sport" just like when 2 guys use the word "Bro"?

Sport, is cocky, pal in a negative tone is too. Kiddo is endearing in a way, especially if a elder calls you that.

In America,it would be a Little Demeaning, as far as I was concerned. It would strike me as he was being a Bit of a Smart A$$. :)

Unusual, but probably not a bad thing unless it feels patronizing.
