I had surgery to adjust my lazy eye muscles as an adult after years of the deviation getting worse. The doctor made it clear that my eyesight would not improve in the affected eye. It did seem to reduce the migraines at that time, but the eyesight never got any better.

I know a person that has had this corrected, I do not know if it has effected any of his sight though.

I would think so. Call an opthamologist and find out. No harm in asking.

i was told putting a patch on the stronger eye will make the lazy one stronger.<br />

I believe it could be rehabilitated. try eye therapy, look up eye exercises or surgery. 21 is a good age for surgery.
