Can a man really make friends(read description)

According to traditional mentality if a guy tries to be friendly with a girl then he's flirting and so he's a jerk.
And according to modern people if a guy tries to be friendly with another guy then he's a gay... then there is no way a guy can make friends?.. poor me.. O.o

Actually its something about fashion.. like modern world.. u know young people get into relationships(monkey love) just becoz its kinda fashionable.. that's what they show in movies, right?.. the girl- boy thing.. : /

Most of my personal friends in life are guys. They are great friends too. So yes, a guy can really make friends!

I don't think that way at all. Most of my friends are men, and I treat them all like family, which includes big hugs upon greeting. Everyone knows there is nothing going on between us, including my husband. To me, anyone who thinks that way doesn't really know the definition of friendship.

I thing many people are closed minded for one. And they just listen to what others are saying. If I told you something was round, and you didn't get to see it for yourself, you would just assume that it was round, even if it really wasn't. Someone tells another "Those guys are gay because they're hugging when they meet" than that other person is going to assume that of the next two men they see hugging. We live in a very closed minded society. There are only a few of us who are lucky enough to have a mind open enough to see the other side. Am I making sense? I love people for WHO they are in their hearts, not for what they look like or do on the outside...

My first best friend was a girl, and I have never flirted with any of my female friends. And I have had male friends, and I'm not gay.

What planet do you come from. That survey and opinion is absurd. Who cares who your friends are. And if they do? Dump them...................

When a guy flirts, he is not a jerk. He's just a guy.
