It happened in Michigan
The victim was not left disabled and escaped mostly unhurt. The boys were 14 at the time.

    If it truly was attempted murder, even tho the intended victim escaped unharmed, there's going to be prison time, no getting around it. The law has become much tougher in general on juvenile offenders.
