No they always say they will change but never do.
if it is domestic violance then they will only get worse each time until they go to far.
The hardest thing is to be violant the first time then after that you just do it. and violance is usually part of their charachter and personality.
i have never seen a violant person change

Yep. As soon as you are bigger and stronger than them. They do what they think they can get away with.

No.
If he hits you once he'll do it again.
My momma always told me that.

I doubt it. Violent men ( and women) are usually repeat offenders.

Yes, with an ice-pick lobotomy through the eyeball into the frontal cortext area, no anesthesia needed. That's what they did to violent boys when I was growing up.

A violent man can stop being violent, yes. People choose their actions, you can choose to change your habits and behavior.

He's not going to stop until you're not there.

I've raised my fisted once at my wife but probably never do it again. We can talk to each other now and not get mad when we misinterpret or disagree about something. She was always to pushy when she wanted a answer. I never wanted to give an answer because it would just hurt her feels and than the agreement would just continue on and on and on.

Your situation is much different. The man has to want to change. If he's begging or talking sweetly to you that he'll change, he's not going to. He's only acting out of passion. If he's calm, rationale, understanding, and coopertive he may change. If he ever gets to that point you have to do the same.

ive never met one that has ever changed. i grew up watching my mother get beat, thats horror on a child. he would cry and appoligize after every blackeye. he tried to shoot her with a shot gun, thankfully he didnt know how to aim it. but her coffie cup spattered glass all in her face. he once said it was because she would never stand up to him. it took him leaving her for another woman to get rid of him. my mother had to buy him a suite so he could marry the other woman. he would of hit me if wasnt so afraid of going back to prison. they get worce or they leave. my advice for anyone, especially with children get help and leave.
