"Bad looks"? Do you mean if someone isn't attractive?

If so ... remember that everyone has a different idea of who is attractive and who isn't.

Everyone is entitled to have a happy life .. and it certainly doesn't have to have anything to do with how you look.

Have a positive outlook in life and you'll be fine. That is very attractive.

She's probably just happy with how she looks and feels. People can see that. Everyone likes to around people who are happy.

Happiness does not depend on physical appearance.
It is the condition of a beneficent soul.
He who develops himself in love and unity under
the guidance and protection of God is fully happy.
Happiness is not a gift from the environment,
but it is the light of inner contentment.
Now we wre living in the Age of human maturity
when all people learn to live usefully, thankfully
and progressively in this and in the next world.
Body is means and not purpose of man's life.

They can try, but scars are like tattoos, just with better stories.

Unfortunately yes. Not necessarily, but I'm afraid bad looks stop many people from reaching their full potential.

If we are talking about physical beauty, my answer is NO.....because real beauty comes from the inside. How many beautiful celebrities you know that aren't so happy ?

I've known so many not so good looking people but has the best character ever and also the happiest ones inn the circle of friends.

your question presumes that people with whom you would judge to be good looking are happy simply because of their looks. I am 51 and I know a lot of people.. I work with young athletes whom you might feel are "attractive" and I work with young people who you would think to be unattractive or ugly.. beyond the fact that judging someone on their genetical appearance is shallow and inaccurate, I have found that happyness is not linked to what we look like.. both beautiful people and ugly ducklings can be equally unhappy and both are capable of envying what someone else has.. ironically, we could have the same question about money or love.. you choose whether to be happy and being at peace with yourself is the most effective path that I have observed.

if someone doesn't "accept" someone (ignores, mean to, or looks past them) based on their opinion of the other persons looks then they are in fact the ugly people.. if it is about someone not accepting a relationship.. we all have preferences in who we are attracted to and those preferences are all different.. it is hard when you find someone attractive romantically and they don't reciprocate.

A good heart in someone, not their looks, is what's important.

It's really what's inside that counts in the end. You could be the most gorgeous man/woman on the planet and be an empty, hateful, shrike on the inside. Maybe not as pretty as certain ones and be beautiful on the inside.

No. There are two ways people stop having a happy life. They can either have some sort of trauma, either growing up with it or something sudden, that would ruin their lives.

Then there are people who have had things happen to them and tend to drag it out for years when it can be fixed easily. They do this because they'd rather feel the pain all the time than to be happy and go right back into a depression.

K well, you're not ugly, if that's what you're saying. I don't really know why you think that. If you need someone to talk to, I don't mind listening :)

Attractive people can use their looks to their advantage if they know what they are doing. Otherwise it should have no bearing on careers or your life.

Confidence and knowledge can be far more attractive in the long run.

It's really not that funny. It's just as much a cause of loneliness as it is a reason that anorexia exists.
