Can I cook rice one night and leave it out in a Tupperware thing, but not refrigerated, and then eat it the next night?

Or is that a bad idea? I fridge-less at the moment, that's why I ask.

    No, eat within 2 hrs or bacteria will grow like crazy

    So, for all the people here that are .making statements they cannot prove. I've done this exact thing many times! Just keep it in a cool place. I've kept leftover pizza in my oven for days, literally. Never got sick or had the craps.

    I used to do this, egg fried rice with left over rice, never been ill from it.

    Over time this can be harmful to your body. We humans cannot see fungus and bacteria with our eyes. Its better to eat it fresh or cook the bacteria off but re heating left overs is dangerous.

    I agree, also i read once putting a onion in your fridge will pull every nasty germ in the fridge into the onion.
