Can I put my sim card in another phone?

I have an android phone from T-mobile. I lent it to a friend to use and they dropped it. Now it wont turn on. I tried taking out the battery and sim card and putting it back. Even if i charge it still does not work. My sister has black berry storm also from T-mobile. Can i put the sim card from my android into her Black berry. Will i have to contact T-mobile informing them that i switched phones? will that affect my monthly plan?

This doesn't work with Tracfone. When you purchase your phone and if the sim card is rejected they have to mail you a new one.

I don't have an android but yeh don't see why it wouldn't work in a blackberry if it's unlocked...

yes. (in my country that is). why not buy for a phone with dual sim cards? ^_^
