Can I take Bactrim DS for a few more days?

I was prescribed Bactrim for 5 days for my UTI , and although it is almost over it is not quite over yet. I saw a dramactic improvement within the first few days of taking the product.

finish ALL your antibiotics like a good duckie =)
you're feeling better because the bactrim is killing the infection but what you don't feel is that the infection isn't all the way gone yet - hence taking the full round of meds...

AshMeadow	Posted Jul 13th, 2009 at 11:10AM Definitely finish your antibiotics. I suffer from frequent, recurring UTI's and I've learned that even though I may think it's gone, it might not be. You will get another one soon after this one if you don't take ALL of the pills. : ) Good luck, hope you feel better. Rated: +1Vote for this!
