Can I use a microfibre cloth instead of taking showers? Apparently it cuts grease without chemicals or even water?

You could even use a sponge, with the right technique. Imagine waking up to a basin and pitcher for freshening up, in the days before indoor plumbing. Or, what if you're camping in the winter, or in warm weather far away from a body of water?
The Katrina disaster is what got me started thinkng about it, and I gave it a good trial this winter. It's a bit of a cross-contamination puzzle, though, and I think it was butt microbes that ultimately gave me a bad case of dandruff. For emergency preparedness, I would encourage everyone to practice at the bathroom sink, imagining the basin as one bucket of (soapy, rinse) water, and the faucet as another bucket of (clean) water. You never know when that's all you're gonna have.Like (1)

Come on, I know you love showers. You're always trying to get me to share one with you!

If grease is your main personal hygiene problem, it might just work. *rolls eyes and wanders off*
