PLEASE NO...........no shoe polish!! leather jackets are not the same as shoes......You can try cleaning it with Murphy's Oil Soap,,,,,,an old standby that works well.......it will cleanse as well as help preserve the leather.........but as someone else here said, try it on an inconspicuous place first.......M. Oil Soap should not stain, etc, but better safe than sorry.

You can also go to a shoe repair shop and see what they have.......you'd probably pay a bit more at a small shop, but then a leather jacket's an investment, so you may as well tke care of it.......AND if you think the shop's stuff is too expensive, then Murphy's Oil Soap it is!!!!!!!!!

Take care of that jacket!! it will give you many years of wear and pleasure!!

Try it in a small area, let it set for a couple days and see what happens. Though leather treatment would seem to be a lot less work.
