That depends on how attractive he finds her. As long as she's fine with him fantasizing about her and checking her out whenever she's not looking... sure, they can be great friends.

We have the same likes, dislikes, thoughts, interests, etc. We are both married and love and respect our spouses and each other. We would not cross that invisible "line" at any cost. As long as they are both open and honest to each other and neither one is expecting more out of the relationship besides just being friends. Only when one or the other expects different things out of the friendship will it be a problem. Oh, and no one has mentioned gay men and women. They can be friends without a problem as well. upwardlyabove	Posted Apr 10th, 2009 at 4:47PM In some cultures yes.In Europe, America and so on.I many african cultures it is unthinkable.But I personaly believe that the best friend a man can have is a woman and vice-versa.I do not understand why, but« I assume that this is the reason why even married people can find a friend outside without crossing the invisible line».Actually I do not believe what I am saying.What I believe is that they look for a friend because the husband and wife are not friends;so, the invisible line can easily be crossed.
