Yes, as in "Honey, I had lunch with my opposite sex friend in the cafeteria at work today". No, as in "Honey, I'm gonna go camping with my opposite sex friend this weekend"

yes i have a female cousin as a friend .when she is depressed i take her when she asks i take her to the pub.or a night-club she will meet people there.she found a new boyfriend there she has been seeing this boyfriend on and off for two years.i have done this for 15 years.that is all she is just a friend.and she feels the same.so i can help her with her depression,by doing so.

It is possible and has happened. I have been friends with lots of guys that I do not look at in a sexual way. It is just weird to even think of them that way... EWWWW

I don't think this is as much an issue as it used to be. For people over the age of 40, it might be more of a challenge.

yes, so long as neither is harboring any deeper attractions or feelings towards each other. if you do, hopefully you have good communications so that these things don't linger to the point where people might get confused and hurt for no good reason. ;)

yes you can... i had i male bf for almost 25 years till he passed away 2 years ago...we went almost everywhere together and we never had sex..he had agirlfriend and i even got married and they both understood..he was there for my divorce and me for his breakup ...it can an d has and will be done.

YES. I have alot of male friends that see me as their female friend. Now, their girlfriends dont like it, but i dont like any of them. They're just a group of guys I play basketball with and watch football with every sunday.

only if one is gay, OR they both find each other hideous/undesirable.

Yes they can. I have lived with the same male friend for nearly five years. If I grab the broom, he grabs the mop. If I do the dishes, he grabs the tea towel. And he only ever left the toilet seat up once in all that time. But if you met him, none of the above you'de expect him to be doing.
