Not without losing his pension. They won't take the money. They'll lable him 4-f and that'll be it. The Army is not a poker game, it's a commitment to his country and it's government.

Seems like he has some issues. Tell him to seek help . Maybe they declare him with PTSD and or more military related mental health issues. He will most lileky be medically retired. It is understandable after 17 long years in the Army. Hell I almost did it before my three year time. SOME BODY FCKING SHOOT ME!
