Can pain be all in the mind?

Yes. The brain is where the pain message is interpreted. The pain may be felt in another part of the anatomy, but the brain is the processor of the information. It is why general pain medication attempts to block the brain message while a local pain killer attempts to deaden the nerves at the source of the pain.

Pain is a response to the stimulation of nerve endings, so basically I'd say no.

Which kind of pain are thinking of? Emotional or physical?

Yes, it can because it is all about your attitude. If you don't take it in a painfull way, or don't hurt from the situation then it is not pain. Pain also comes from the heart, but if you can put your heart back together after it has been broken, then you are using your mind to put it back together. So as long as you think pain doesn't exist, or you can recover from it easily, then it is not there.

Pain on the body is horrible. We should cure it with both physical and spiritual means. However, we should not fear pain; because the more we fear the more our resistance will diminish.
