Depro is usually given instead of the pill for hormones. Im doubting pills can make you depro. If you have to have depro you would likely be on it already.

The birth control pill can do many things for a woman besides protect from pregnancy.

There are different birth control pills for different issues women have. Skin (acne and such), PMDD (Premenstrual dysphoric disorder), one level of hormones (estrogen or progesterone) needing to be raised or lessened... Heavy periods, irregular periods etc.

However, every pill and every woman is different. So you need to sort things out with your Gynocologist. He/she can tell you what your best option would be.

If you get on the pill for a few months and notice some physical or emotional changes, you should tell your doctor so they can sort it out.

For the first week I was an emotional trainwreck. I cried over dumb crap... After that I was fine.

Yes, one woman on EP posted a story in Sexless Marriage saying she felt sexless. Then posted an update a week or two later that she changed her birth control pill and she was bad to her normal sex loving self. If you feel strange after taking the pill for a while, talk to your Dr about the symptoms and then consider changing the prescription to something that doesnt have the bad side effect.
