What needs to be done to have peace will never happen. One side needs to be wiped out 100% but it won't happen.

The nations will have to agree to disagree. The cultures are so opposite from ours. Respecting each other is the first step to trust.

Step out and leave them to it. It is really none of our business.

There will never be peace as long as there are people willing to strap explosives on their body and blow themselves up in order to hurt their enemy.

Here's a plan, give all those idiots explosives, fill some shopping centers, busses and the like with convicted child molesters. Convince the idiots that they are the enemy and let them blow everyone up.
Kill two birds with one stone.

I DID have a plan, but I took it with me on the train to NYC the other day and left it by mistake. I think they probably threw it out when they cleaned....

sigh.

Supply each side with equal weapons (that can't reach us) and enjoy.

There can be peace, but it's very important that both Palestinians and Israelis acknowledge eachother's humanity and reach out to eachother as individuals and human beings. On the political level there has to be an end to the building of settlements, the institutional violation of the rights of Palestinians must stop, the borders agreed upon in 1967 need to at least be respected. Peace will not be reached only through politics or violence, it will have to come from 'normal' people, from individuals and ngo's within and outside of Israel and Palestine. As long as the Palestinian people are treated the way they are the cycle of violence will continue, it's a vicious circle.
Palestinians feel they are in a desperate situation and that they have nothing to lose. Disproportionate retaliation by the Israeli forces will not make Israeli citizens safer, it is clearly detrimental to not only Palestinians, but also Israelis.
Furthermore, it's important for Jews (and others) throughout the world to realise that legitimate criticism of the Israeli state is not anti-semitism, it is a criticism of political actions in pursuance of zionist ideals. Zionism was created by atheists and being a Jew doesn't and shouldn't entail blind support for the Israeli state or even support for zionist ideology. I think that Jews have the opportunity to criticise Israel and to make an impact as their criticism will not be dismissed immediately as 'anti-semitic'.
Israeli citizens (in any case those who haven't yet done so) will hopefully come to realise that the current situation is unsustainable and that Palestinians are human beings just like them.
To reach a peace agreement pressure must be exerted from both outside and within Israel. On the international level the U.S.A. must halt it's support for Israel in the Security Council and must dare to criticise human rights violations (just as Obama has started to do recently), pressure groups throughout the world and domestic groups such as b'tselem must continue their work until the Israeli State realises that continuing this way is more detrimental than peace.

Religious conflicts that involve hating someone due to conflicting beliefs of spiritual rights are impossible to resolve. Like the famous King Solomon event with the baby whose mother's identity was disputed...they should take away all the land that is in conflict, move everyone out and make it inhospitable...let's see which side caves in first and says, "NO! We would rather see our land held by someone else than for no one to have it at all!" But that will never happen. Instead, they will fight over tiny pieces of land that in most cases has no real value, other than religious history.

Unfortunately no. The extremist leaders of Iran will not stop until they have a nuke for Israel. Extremist believe that they must convert the whole world to Islam, and destroy non believers, so even if everyone gets what they want, there will still be violence. Remember the USA is the "big Satan" and Israel is the little Satan and the EXTREMISTS are very clear about thier agenda.
