yes or you can be a lying bastard - it's YOUR word on the line......that's why they came up w' the 'contempt of court' doctorine.....so you fear the JUDGES word MORE than 'God'....

The first time I went; I turned to the judge and said; excuse me; BUT I could swear on that bible; BUT that bible does not mean anything to me; as I do not believe in that gawd. The judge replied; we have other religious faith material to swear on; and we have an oath of truth / honesty; which doesn't involve swearing to a gawd. So, yes - you don't need tolieve in a gawd to swear an oath. Rated: +1Vote for this!
