Yes...some of the best movies I've ever seen were in different languages.

Mention a few please ?

Best Answer

Moreso usually.

Best Answer

Me too.

Best Answer

The best film with subtitles is " Das Boot " or The Boat. A German view of WW2 in a U Boat

Best Answer

That was a very good movie

Best Answer

Think they also had a good few hour long programmes

Best Answer

I love French movies....yes

Best Answer

Absolutely.

Best Answer

No. I'm too busy reading the words..I much rather the movie to be dubbed over, even if the English words don't match their mouths.

Best Answer

Not as much as without

Best Answer

Yes, when the movie is in a language that I don't know well.

[Okay, sometimes for English too.] :-) :-)

Best Answer

Yes. I find the failure of the lip sync bothers me more than having to look at the words. Back when I was watching with my wife in an apartment building we would have the volume down but not off and close-captioning on all the time

Best Answer

if it;s a good movie...yes i can

Best Answer

no . . . if I wanted to read I would pick up a book . . . movies are for visual pleasure . . . besides I have a rare eye condition that makes reading subtitles on a tv screen impossible. . .

Best Answer

Not really. In fact I find it pretty irritating at times.

Best Answer

Yes, both english and spanish.

Best Answer

Yes, I love to read! Pan's Labyrinth is an amazing movie with subtitles. It annoys me too much when the mouths don't match the words, so I prefer subs to dubbed.

Best Answer

Some of the best movies are foreign.

Best Answer

Indeed.

Best Answer

Yes, unless I'm playing Words with Friends at the same time.

Best Answer

Yes, I can if I'm not trying to also multi-task at the time.

Best Answer

But a good movie deserves to be watched.

Best Answer

Well, I'm not exactly American, so the movies here have subtitles. Even though I don't need most of them, but I don't mind 'em.

Best Answer

Watched many :)
