I have, on Day of Silence. It's hard, but not as hard as you'd think.

Seriously? That's most days for me; I live alone, I never answer the phone, and I refuse most suggestions that would result in an appointment on my calendar. That's the way, uh-huh uh-huh, I like it.

Yes, especially on weekends I try to have as much quiet as possible. During the week it's impossible with work though..

I would love to go on one of those retreats, where you have to be totally silent and live with monks and just silently view the world and be really introspective. Yeah, I oculd so do that. Might help to sort out my head too! Then again........
