Well I foresee that the world will operate more on a global scale instead of local scale > and because of that there will be a lean towards a one world government > or just a small number of governments that are all interconnected somehow.
Also I see that some form of worldwide money system will be put in place > because people will be buying and trading more globally and to minimize the confusion of exchanging one form or currency to another > there will be a one money system. I also forsee that Cash will be limited and or be done away with... and all money transactions will be buy credit over computer lines. So we will be closer to a cashless society.

I also believe we will all have computers that can connect to the internet from anywhere buy connecting directly to satellites. You wont need home internet or a modem or a router.

I also see that cars will be smaller > more affordable and get better gas mileage and will rely more upon electricity than gas.

    -----------------------------------
Now for some things I would like to see happen buy not sure if they will happen or not. 1) we need a new source of power for transportation. That is the number one thing the world needs to work on. We need to find a cost effective way to power our cars and trucks and planes and trains etc. Without relying on OIL.
We need a new source of energy!!!

    2) Some of these religions that inspire suicide bombings and terrorist activities need to be Stamped OUT completely and any country or society that refuses to get along with the rest of the world should be stamped out too. >

    3) There needs to be a change in the money system because the one we have now is not so fair. Capitalism in its true from does not work in the long run to take care of the whole. The way things are now. The system is designed to favor the rich...and to help them get richer and that same system makes it very very hard for the poor to get ahead. That needs to change but not sure if it will. Because the wealthy have the power to keep it the way it is.

I have a bad feeling that society will take itself down before we could have ever reached our technological potential.

Inter-galactic space travel- hologram-to-flesh and bone/forming actual flesh (molecules, compounds all that) stuff we can't even 3D-copy yet, lol- that too is an awesome feat of technology we have achieved so far. But leaving all the 'sci-fi' behind, I think technology will come about will make the current technology we are on- seem ancient. Just imagine the worlds of possibilities in medicine, science we will conquer. But also imagine the weapons and the havoc they might create. But other than the whole world plunging into terminatoresque future- I'd say the next two hundred years will add so much more than everything we have accomplished so far. And even though none of us will be around to really see what takes place in the coming centuries, we can sure hope they have the technology available to resurrect us back from our tombstones. That would be sweet.

Unfortunately you are probably right. And Im not even sure that the world will be around in 200 years. Seems to me like the world has not been getting better recently but rather things have been getting worse over the past several years... and things are going to escalate into some kind of Huge world war I believe The major problem with the world is Human Greed and ignorance
