Resolved Question

Can you recommend a good photo editing program? I don't like Microsoft Digital Image.?

I want something professional but not too difficult to learn. Adobe wasn't quite right either. I would prefer to keep the cost under $100 but would go to $200 for the right program. Thanks!

I like Corel Paint Shop Pro Photo X2, you can download a trial. Photoshop is good but kinda hard to use for beginners.

Photoshop. If you need a photo edited and don't have a program, I'm willing to do anything. I enjoy it.

I would recommend "The GIMP". It's free and pretty simple to use.

Well, Photoshop's probably the most versatile one, but it doesn't come cheap and there's a definite learning curve; if there's a community college in your area, you might see if there's a course in it available. That would give you an opportunity to try it out, get some instruction on the trickier features and, possibly pick up an academic copy for cheaper. If you don't intend to do professional image processing, that might serve your purposes; otherwise, you might wanna just pony up for your legit pro copy of Photoshop.

You might try The GIMP -- it has some similar features, and you can download it for free. If you've worked with other imaging software, you probably won't have much trouble with it.

Good luck!!

Roxio PhotoSuite 5 works good for me.

I am wondering what windows program your computer runs on.
I am running on VISTA and miss windows XP as it's IMAGE ZONE was great to quick fix photo's.

I also have Photoshop - yes, it's pricie - yes, learning on my own has not been easy, in fact I wonder if one can ever learn it well on one's own.
