Everyone says different things because everyone has different experiences and stereotypes of certain drugs. It really depends on the drug.
I advise you research for yourself the different drugs you're curious about. Try and find credible sites that aren't clearly biased. Also, try finding some people on here in groups that advocate drug usage and ask them questions. Be sure to find the more knowledgable of the bunch. I am in I Smoke Weed, if you're curious specifically about that. With other drugs, I have little curiosity, and I have not tried them.
I recommend you exercise caution while trying any of them. DO NOT try them with strangers: only people you know and trust well. Try, if you can, to have someone there who's done it before, and designate someone to stay sober for the night. When trying any drug for the first time (especially hallucinogens) a babysitter is a very very wise idea.
Be careful, and good luck!

Mind-altering drugs do things to your unseen bodies - your emotional, mental and etheric bodies; and they can actually tear them - which means that your natural protection from entities that want to take you over is impaired, and most of them are habit-forming, so you gradually lose control over what you will or will not do to get your next 'fix'.
The fact that "other people do drugs" should not be allowed to dictate your behaviour - once you know better, you know not to partake - not even "just to try" them.

My advice: Keep off drugs; even alcohol and tobacco are drugs, and the first things a doctor will tell you to stop if you're ill. That should tell you that they put a strain on your body, and are not good for it.

Even pharmaceutical drugs are a very mixed blessing for the body. None of them are natural, even if the synthetic active substance is "the same" as a natural plant substance... (because it isn't really the same - its only the same to a chemist, because they can't test the difference).

Miss Angels, today you are just bored and wanting to play with people, right? Do you dare tell me that you *don't* know the answer to the question you are asking? It's your right. Express yourself any way you can. But today, I am sick and tired of games. Thanks -- take care -- Andrew

hi Anna
the best drugs are without any doubt produced by you own body. The ones that come from outside mimic your own drugs. So Opium is a copy of endorphins you produce yourself. That is the only way drugs act on our bodies and so our minds. That is the truth about drugs - you do not need them because you already have them! Exercise for example produces endorphins - and producers the Runners High!
hope helps!

People take drugs so they can handle their reality in a better way. If you're bored, sad, angry, unsociable, uninspired, in pain, or suffering in some other way then drugs can probably help you. It's better not to depend on them though. Time away from big bad reality can be refreshing, but if you do it too much you begin to lose touch and that's how you become disadvantaged. Take it from me, I love drugs, but I respect their powers.

drugs can tear you from families and friends, before you even know it your stealing from them and your family and friends won't trust you anymore, as much as it feels good to get high, its not worth it, drugs wont help you out when you need help, when your family and friends will, but you wont have them around because you ****** up everything and sometimes you cant even get back in the right with them.. pot is a gateway drug, it will lead you to other drugs, pills are still drugs, oxicotton is jsut as bad as heroine once your addicted. please dont do it, please listen to people who have had experiences making mistakes, but sometimes you have to learn on your own too.

The truth is they can destroy families and friendships.

I know this from first hand experience. Crack tore my parents apart before I was a year old.

It's subjective truth. You have to find out for yourself. Drugs can kill you and turn you into a spaz. That's truth. But drugs can also be used in a sensible way and enjoyed responsibly and open your mind up to new ways of thought.

It depends on the drug. I have watched my brother my entire life and I have seen how said his life is and he is what i considered a mild drug user (joints). His life is a mess. Not to mention I work in Emergency Services and have seen plenty of young people who have died from the use of drugs. It's just not worth it.

The truth is, most of them are ******* dumb. They will kill you. But so does alcohol and tobacco. Marijuana does absolutely nothing to harm a person other then some respritory problems. But it makes you veg like an idiot. The other ones are worse. Use at your own risk. Do whatever you want. I choose not to but in a free country people have the right to put a controlled amount of anything they please into their bodies. Drugs work. That's why people do them. They don't change your personality. They are just dangerous. So are alot of things though.

I had a whale of a time, but i avoided heroin and cocaine like the plague. Had a love affair with LSD and it did me no harm; in fact, it made me question stuff and think more of the bigger picture than myself. Still smoke weed and i hate the propaganda about it sending you mad - it's reefer madness all over again. If you're prone, alcohol will just as likely do it to you as cannabis. Half of all 1st time admissions into psych wards are alcohol related, most domestic abuse is too, but it's a nice, taxable drug, so that's ok. It stinks.

Ecstacy's ok, but always makes me throw up - dunno why.
I tell you all this honestly, not to promote them, but because you wanted the truth. Well, that is my truth, but don't for one second think it might be YOUR truth. The choice is yours, but know that for every person i know like me, who have had positive experiences, there are 5 who've had bad experiences. My best advice is think very carefully before you try anything & steer clear of the hard stuff - it's a recipe for disaster. I have old friends who are now prostitutes, theives or convicts because of heroin addiction; it's a horrible drug - just say no!

Drug provide can provide short term enjoyment. There is a reason people choose to use drugs and it for this. If you use drugs chances are small that at that time they will hurt you. Though there is a risk at anytime a drug can provide a horrible experience. Long term drug use is another story and have a high likelihood of messing up your life.

Drugs use will not provide any help with your long term goals. And most likely it will harm them.

Basically with drugs you are sacrificing the long term for short term pleasures.

In the end drugs are not worth the short term pleasure they provide. And when you get sober you will regret all you wasted on them.
