Some credits transfer and some don't. You'll need to check with the institution to which you are planning to transfer as to what they will or will not accept.

not sure what state you are in, or if you are even in the US, but they have a law in California that says the 4 year school has to honor the catalog you started with at your junior college.
This means if the requirements change, they have to honor the ones at the time you started.

I live in America (N.C.) hopefully not for much longer, I want to go home to N.Y. That's very interesting, maybe I should consider California.

...absolutely! You need to meet with a councilor from the school you are transferring to & they will let you know which units transfer & which ones don't....a majority of them will...
