It depends, it varies...my family has been with me all my life past and present and I want them in my future but they won't be because they have horribly abused me all 20 years of my life, so it is time to say goodbye, i have given them 20 years to get better and they get worse.

Well that is an interesting question. For myself I have some friends that know almost everything about me and I have those that I only share what I want them to know. I like knowing as much as possible because I find people interesting but I also know that some people like to know everything because they may find something that they can hold against you later on. The best thing to do is share nothing that you do not care others knowing.

I don't know who this "them" is that you are asking about, but I personally believe in a loving God and His promise is for those who will look to Him and He is indeed trustworthy. He never promised that this life would be easy, He did promise to be with those who will look to Him to get through this life.
