i think it used to be called armistice day. anniversary of the armistice in WWI. we make a bit of a fuss over it. lots of people wearing poppies, memorial ceremonies at the cenotaph.<br />
might as well ask why you guys call it veterans' day instead of doing what we did.
It's like Veterans Days. We have a mass, a moment a silence and we give our respects to the soldiers and fallen soldiers.
