my life must be more messed up than i thought ! and i thought it was pretty messed up! how can i get some sleep ??

Try going to bed. Turn on soothing music or something to block out outside noises. If the weather's cool, I find a cool breeze helps me sleep (as long as my body is snug under the covers).

Drink and sleeping pills will not do it, go and mow, weed, cut, hack, dig, make your body tired and your mind will follow, if you cannot work, go for a looooooooong walk, do something that satisfies your spirit.
