Aww I'm so sorry sweetheart for your loss :( I'm sure your father would've wanted you and your loved ones to remember him fondly and not feel as though smiling or feeling happy is forbidden. It's fine sweetheart to send well wishers at Christmas time and I'm sure everyone was blessed that in spite of all the pain that you'd been through you were still so sweet to think of them at Christmas time xoxo
I am so sorry you lost your Dad. Do you think he would want you to be unhappy? I highly doubt it. You do what makes you feel good....not a thing to feel guilty over.
Don't worry about it. I think it was fine to do that. I'm sure your Dad would be happy to see you wishing people a merry christmas even though you suffered a major loss.
Everybody deal with grief differently. Good to see that you can find some happiness at a time when there seems to be none.
Are they mourning the loss of your father? If not, then go right ahead.
sorry about your Dad...and no you didn't do anything inappropriate..wouldn't you want others to keep celebrating Christmas if it were you? (knock on wood)
****CELEBRATE your fathers life rather than mourn his death****
Wishing you every happiness, peace and inner tranquility.
Are you a Hindu,I thought they practice this.
