I'm majoring in Computer Science and Spanish and I'm fairly certain both will ensure that I get a good job once I graduate from college. I think I'll probably go to work though if I continue with my education I would consider a PhD

Mine is a BA in social work and no it is not good for a job here in the USA because I got it in Canada. There is a process you have to go through to be certified in California. I also have 2 years of a 4 years honors MA degree in theology. My degree did get me into my job that I have now- in administrative work!

I'm actually getting a degree in General Studies. I'm minoring in Japanese to lend a little more weight to my degree. I plan on continuing and working my way through a Master's and Ph.D., both in history. By the time you reach the Ph.D. level in historical studies, they want you to be fluent in the language for the region you want to specialize in. I might be interested in studying gender issues in Japanese history.

Once I get my Bachelor's, it will allow me to work as an English teacher in Japan, which I plan on doing for a few years in order to become fluent in Japanese. :-)

I got my BA in English (like you) and my MA in History. They've both given me skills that I find helpful, but I wouldn't say that they've really assisted me in getting a job. It just means that my business letters are written in complete sentences!

I study liberal arts and I take a wide variety of classes. I take whatever classes I am interested in.
Art (Photography, Painting & drawing, Sculpture, etc.)
Psychology
English
Woman's Studies
Paranormal Studies
Theater
Music (mostly singing but also music history and theory)
Business
Science
Environmental Studies
Human Sexuality
Cultural Anthropology
Sociology

(those are just a few of the categories I have studied and I am interested in).

I do not have a degree yet because I skip around so much. I am not going to collage for a degree though, just for some higher knowledge and experience in a lot of different areas.

I will get an associates in Liberal Arts, and then I am not sure if I will go for a bachelors or not.
