    asthma has nothing to do with it , Thats not my opinion as it is a medical fact , asthma has to do with your breathing / respratory system , Anxiety has to bo with the thought process / Neurological .

    Stress can trigger Asthma attacks and any illness can cause you anxiety. Doesnt necessarily mean that is an explaination in every case but whichever it is down to the best things to do is breath deep and try to calm yourself

    i agree, stress is a big cause of long anxiety checks, worth getting checked for asthma but think about any thing which may be worrying you. good luck and get well soon.

    Asthma would do it yes.... the fear of an attack can become worse than the actual attack.
    After all asthma is your body refusing to act in a way which you would expect..

    i can relate t the fear of one being worse than one. sometimes when i have anxiety atttacks they will last 3-4 hours even after i'm already -mind set- calm.
