Well, until a couple of years ago, I didn't even have one, and I functioned quite nicely without it. Now, I don't have a land line, so my cell phone is the only one I have. I don't use it that much. I get 200 minutes per month, and never use them all.

Absolutely no question. I could happily do without it.

I lived most of my life without one. In China, they are much less common than in the USA. I often leave my cell phone home, and I only turn it on when I expect an important call or when I want to make an important call.

What mobile phone? What idiot would want one of those so you can be contacted whenever some other farkwit wants and at any time. What, are you a masochist or just a lonely guy? How do you function with it? Anybody answers one in my hearing I take it off them and smash it on the ground. Save their lives I do.

Yep, I lost mine a while back and wouldn't have bought a new one, but then my father urged me to take his old phone.
