I can understand your predicament but providing the best advice to fit your situation is not so easy. What comes readily to mind is would you be prepared to tolerate his ways for the remainder of your life. If this cannot be answered in the affirmative then it would seem appropriate to bail-out. You have got to be able to live together without fear or favour and to feel comfortable and proud of and admire each other. You have got to feel emotionally close to each other; any distance here alienates. There are such things as marriages of convenience but most marriages revolve around mutual attraction and willing commitment. It may be hard to make the break but the bottom line is, would you be willing to be unhappy for the remainder of your life and probably make any children of the relationship unhappy too. It sounds a bit like the situation where there is no gain without pain. You have my commiserations but I do wish you success in whatever choice you make.
