The love can turn to resentment over time if it is not returned. But you have no choice in either matter.

It will not be possible for me to stop loving her as she has captured my heart and caged me in her heart.
I would rather live a bachelor life forever with her thoughts in my mind and keep loving her forever in my heart!!

i dont think you can ever really stop loving someone, as soon as their footprints are on your heart, they are hard to erase but, that doesnt mean your not capable of finding new love.

I think that,s a dangerous Premise. For instance....You love him but he has a serious addiction of some kind. I really think you need to defer to your head for this one. She can't let you out of her sight? this can drive you mad. DTH....Defer to head. He wants to do EVERYTHING for you. This can ultimately make you helpless ( and drive u nuts) What am i saying?...there needs to be a balance.

yes.... i loved my stbx with my whole heart. But love needs nourishment.... my love died a slow long death.... Compared with others it was fast but it was the most painful experience in my life and i never want to do that again.
