After organ donation, Cremation and as a Athiest I require no funeral or the similar. Just my ashes scattered where ever my family feel like doing it, it'll mean nothing to me as I'll be Dead.

I'm also open to my body being donated to science.

My family agrees cremation is less land intensive, less expensive and gives God something to do rebuilding the body, the soul doesn't expire or burn up as far as I know

I have had a lot of family members pass. I have seen how hard it is to see your loved one at the front of the church in a casket. When my husband passed he was cremated as I will be. His funeral was hard for me & my children but it ended as a celebration. With stories & laughing, Many people told me after that they thought it was very uplifting and they said it was much easier saying goodbye that way.

when I was younger(kid) I thought burial. Who wants your body burned to pieces and destroyed, let it deteriorate naturally.
When i got older and was smarter, and had a few relatives die, I decided cremation---you can put your body(ashes) in more than one place at one time, letting your spirit have more freedom and everyone can share a part of you in their house if they want(except with my relatives it was all in one place like a regular burial).
And if anyone ever digs up your grave for fun, no maggots!!!lol

If no one can benefit from my spare parts, burn'em. I don't care about my outer shell, just my soul really matters.

Cremation, just because it's cheaper and I don't want people looking at my dead body in a casket and commenting, "Oh, she looks good." No, I'm dead! I DON'T look good! :P

Cremation. No funeral. A memorial service if the family wants to have one. I've told them all and they know I'm mean enough to come back and haunt them if they ignore my wishes...lol

My grandma always told us when we were little she wanted to be cremated because she has this fear of someone digging up her body.

I decided I'd like to be cremated just in case the illogical happens and the dead rise. I don't want my body to rise.

Cremation! I don't want to be buried in the ground.

After any useful organs or other bodyparts are removed, cremation is the way to go. I don't want to be a waste of space. I live around a bunch of cemeteries and seeing all the land that can't be used for something else kind of upsets me.

you guys should really go to a crematory and look at a human body dancing and bounce while it's heating, then the burning itself. if you witness this **** once, you'll have second thoughts about cremating. maybe .
i am not decided yet, none of these 2 are good enough for me to accept. when i can't control what happens to my body, then it won't matter. but for now, i won't chose any.

I used to think burial, so people could come and still talk to 'me', but I've started to think cremation. I would finally be warm ... and the one I love could take me on one last trip out to sea.

I want to donate my body to science. I'm told that after they finish, they cremate the remains and return them to the family. So I suppose I pick cremation by default.
